I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one,
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Oh happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun.
Oh happy memories that I leave when life is done.
So sorry to hear the sad news that your Mom passed away. She was such a sweet kind Lady. She will be missed by everyone. So glad that we got to see her on our last 2 trips to Elliot Lake.
Betty was a lovely woman. I remember tge evenings of playing cards at the different houses on the Saturday evenings in the 1980’s. She always had such a warm, welcoming way about her. So sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences.

My heart dropped when I had read the obituary. I remember your mom well even though I have been away from Elliot Lake many years. I remember her gentle smile and love of life, filled with faith. So sorry for your loss. It is never easy. God's words to her would be "well done good and faithful servant."
So sorry to read of Betty's passing. She always had a pleasant word. She will be missed. Faye and Bob Ferguson
