Passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Friday April 27, 2018 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Ladouceur (2008). Georgette was the proud mother of Darlene (Lloyd), Michel (Ruth), Bruce and Laurie (John). Grandmother to Jasmine (fiancée Ken Van Allen), Marc, Cécilia, Véronique and Geneviève. Loving sister of Solange (late Victor Levesque), Gracia (Emilio Morelli), sister-in-law Joan Bouffard (late Rosaire) and brother-in-law Rocco Di Mambro (late Marie). Pre-deceased by brothers Georges (late Julienne), Marcel (late Gracia), Joseph (late Madeleine), Noel, André and sister Cécile. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mom was an insurance broker for over 40 years. She also participated in the Catholic Women’s League and was awarded a 55 year pin for membership. Mom loved to sing and was part of the Our Lady of Fatima Choir. The highlight of every year was the St. Patrick’s Day Tea in which she participated in many different capacities over the years. She assisted in the kitchen, decorating and in the last years, she always ran the bake table. Whenever you needed a helping hand, Mom was always one of the first to say yes she would help. Family and friends will be received at the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre (36 Ontario Ave) on Tuesday May 1 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at 11 am from Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Father Anthony Man-Song-Hing officiating. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at a later date at Woodlands Cemetery, Elliot Lake. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

Very sorry to hear of Georgette's passing. She was always a kind, caring & generous lady. Will remember her fondly.
