Viola Elizabeth Metherel

Metherel, Viola Elizabeth - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Viola Elizabeth (nee Kinney) on November 20, 2020 at Hillside Retirement Park in Elliot Lake at the age of 92 years. Pre-deceased by her husband Donald Bruce Metherel by 20 days. She will lovingly be remembered by her children Donald Wortman (Alice) of NB, Velma Wortman (Harold) of SK, the late Stephen Wortman (Judy) of NB, Diane Holley (Art) of ON, Greg Wortman (Francine) of SK, Gary Wortman of NB and Mariel McArthur (Chris) of AB. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as extended family. Mom loved being a mother, a homemaker and traveling especially if it meant visiting family and friends. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be deeply missed by family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held alongside her late husband Donald at a later date in Beaverton, ON. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
