November 4, 1959 - January 2, 2022

It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Alexander Ciotka on January 2, 2022. Beloved son of the late Andrew (Sandy) Ciotka and Catherine McFadden (nee Cassidy - the late William). Father of Samantha (Cory), Katryna (Jason), Alisha, Jade, Austin (Michelle), Skyler and husband to Teresa. Proud Papa to Noah, Carson, Donny, Keiran and Dezmin. Will be missed by his siblings Cassandra Thompson (Michael), Andrea Rainville (Gerard), late Andrew, Mackie (Susie), MaryJo Roy (JP) and numerous nieces and nephews. Forever remembered by the Ciotka, Cassidy, French and McFadden families.


Tom was known as the "bike man", a man with a golden heart who was always willing to help others in his community. Tom will be missed by many, especially his right hand men Keith McLean and Gary Warbrick (Bim). He will finally be reunited with his best friend Donny Burtch.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 16, 2022 between the hours of 1 - 4 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion in Blind River. Donations can be made to the NSHN BR Foundation - Golden Birches.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and nursing staff at NSHN Blind River, Sault Area Hospital and Melanie Hall from the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre.
