In Loving Memory of Ronald Stuart January 13, 1944 – April 6, 2025

Our hearts ache to announce the sudden passing of Ronald Stuart, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, on April 6, 2025, at the age of 81. Ronald was a devoted husband to his cherished wife, Linda, with whom he shared 50 remarkable years of marriage. He was a proud father to his four daughters: Tanya (Gavin Babstock), Kimberley (Marc Talon), Wendy (Jason Coburn), and Jennifer (Charmaine Pepin), all of whom he playfully claimed were the source of his silver hair. He was also a cherished grandfather to four grandchildren: Max, Marissa, Oliver, and Declan, who brought him immense joy and pride.

Ronald had a passion for fishing and vintage trucks, a tool for any job, and a pocket full of dog treats for his four-legged friends. He possessed a remarkable knack for striking up conversations with anyone he encountered. Whether chatting with a friend or swapping stories with a passerby, he could turn any encounter into a memorable exchange.

His kindness, devotion, and unwavering support for his family defined him. He was a pillar of strength and will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered, forever holding a special place in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Ronald’s life will be held on June 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel, followed by a reception at the Moose Lodge at noon. The family welcomes all who knew and loved him to join in celebrating his life.
