In Loving Memory of Pamela Joy Ross

March 26, 1957 – June 28, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Joy Ross, who left us on June 28, 2025, at the age of 68 following a sudden cardiac event.

Pamela was the beloved mother of Lisa S. Ross Ramstead, and dear sister to her twin Gary Ross and brother Kim Ross. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Joyce and Gordon Ross.

Born and raised in Toronto, Pamela brought intelligence, kindness, wit, and grace to everything she did. She had a unique sparkle—stylish, thoughtful, and always ready with a sharp story or a warm laugh. Pamela found joy in life’s simple moments: laughing with friends, playing with her dogs—most recently, her cherished companion Sadie—and appreciating the beauty in everyday life.

Ten years ago, Pamela made Elliot Lake, Ontario her home. There, surrounded by nature and community, she found peace and joy in the changing seasons—especially the brilliant reds of autumn.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in Elliot Lake—timed to coincide with one of the seasons she loved most.

An intimate ceremony will take place at the Fire Tower Lookout, a place Pamela loved to visit and share. Arrival at 1:00 p.m., Ceremony at 1:30 p.m.

Following the ceremony, all are welcome to join the celebration at 1 Washington Crescent beginning at 3:00 p.m., where we’ll gather to remember the extraordinary woman Pamela was.
