Mary Agnes Neil (nee Fagan) March 15, 1932 – Jan. 21, 2025 Passed away peacefully in Elliot Lake where she had resided for the past fifty years. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mary Fagan, husband Tom Neil, sisters Anne (Don) Hines and Betty Flatt. Survived by brother in law Joe Flatt, nieces and nephews Mike (Laurie) Flatt, Steve Flatt, Lawrence ( Julie) Flatt and Pete ( Ann Marie) Flatt. Also Susan ( Pete) Fulton, Peggy ( Lee ) Spence, Tom Hines and Terry Hines. Mary was born in Cayuga and raised on a small farm. A devoted Catholic who loved to knit, Mary also enjoyed driving and was very particular about her car. Mary and Tom were married in 1973 and they moved to Northern Ontario, they had a cottage on Manitoulin Island were they enjoyed the summers. Special thanks to Jackie and Joseph O’Neil who took such great care of her. Mary has been cremated, and a family ceremony will be held in the spring in Dunnville, Ontario. A memorial mass will also be celebrated from Ste. Bernadette Parish in Elliot Lake at a later date.
