Marcel Russell Dumas (August 18, 1951 – May 3, 2025)

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Marcel Dumas in his 74th year at St. Joseph’s General Hospital, Elliot Lake on May 3, 2025. Marcel was a husband, father, grandfather and brother. Marcel is survived by his spouse, Paulette of 53 years, his two sons, Micheal and Cory, and two granddaughters, Kali and Kyla. Predeceased by his parents, Russell and Jacqueline Dumas, two brothers, Richard and Ronald, and his daughter, Michelle. He is also survived by 5 sisters; Carol (Giovanni) Rossetto, Debbie (Jean) Lanctot, Darlene Dumas, Diana Dumas and Joanna (Daren) Moggy, as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Marcel was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved the outdoors. As per his wishes, there will be cremation and internment will be at Woodlands Cemetery in Elliot Lake. A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date, in Elliot Lake.
