Sunset February 28, 2026. Larry age 77, has begun his journey to be reunited with his parents, Charles McLeod and Julia Bob, along with his brother Paul and his two sisters Delores and Sarah, and many of his other ancestors. Surviving Aunt Celina Abitong. He will be deeply missed by his wife Grace McLeod (Owl) and his son’s Darrel Lewis and Steven Owl. Papa to Maddy and Winston, Autum and Cody (Kayley), and great papa to 8 great grandchildren. His absence will be missed by his In-laws Eleanor, MaryAnn, Theresa, Percy, Glenda and Billy, Gary and Irvin Baa. Beloved brother to Shirley (James Baa), Alice (George), Debbie (Clarence Baa), Eunice, Caroline (Brian Baa) and Connie (Donny). Missing his sarcastic jokes and laughter will be his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Scottish enjoyed working with his hands and was a carpenter by trade, helping where he could either in his community or family members. He also enjoyed his time in the kitchen; his famous baked beans will be missed at family functions. He was always available to be of service to his sisters on their many fund-raising ventures, weather that be putting up tents for pow wows or putting out chairs and table for prize bingos, and of course his pay off for this was taking his sisters money at poker bingo. Family and friends will be gathering at 22 Hillside Drive West, Cutler on Wednesday March 4th 2026. On Thursday March 5th he will be moved to the Lifestyle Centre, Serpent River First Nations, 36 Ball Park Rd, Cutler Ontario. Final Good byes will be on Friday March 6th last viewing will be from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by a Pipe Ceremony and Feast. Cremation to follow.
