Larry Francis

Francis, Larry December 15, 1940 – July 26, 2025 It is with great sorrow that the family announce the peaceful passing of Larry Francis at his residence in Elliot Lake on July 26, 2025 at the age of 84. Larry was born in Cardinal, Ontario to parents Gordon Francis & Ruth Shaver. He was the loving father of Lori Wilkins of Elliot Lake, Allan Francis (Dawn L’homme) of Hamilton and grandfather of Jessica, John, Jacob and Logan. Dear brother of Wayne Francis of Elliot Lake and sister Sharon Woo (late Tony) of Florida. He is also survived by his partner and good friend Vina Jones, by numerous nieces and nephews and by many good friends and neighbors. Larry worked in the construction industry, driving a cement mixer, until his retirement. Larry lived along the St. Lawrence river for most of his life. His hobbies included boating and fishing, at which he excelled. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycles and playing bean bag where he participated in numerous Bean Bag Tournaments in Elliot Lake. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
