Judy (Hopkins) Brownell

BROWNELL, Judy Mae Evelyn (Hopkins) August 10, 1947 – February 28, 2026 Surrounded by her family, Judy passed peacefully as her Lord and Helper took her home in His perfect timing (Ecclesiastes 3:11). She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 60 years, Alfred Brownell; her children, Marie (Tony), William (Leigh), Rosalyn, and Maureen (Stuart); her grandchildren, Hailey (Brandon), Curtis, Jenna, Malia, Aysha, Enza, Idris, Fiona, and Ewan; her great-grandchild, Winter; her numerous nieces and nephews; and her cherished church family. Predeceased by two children called home prematurely; her parents, Lorne and Kathleen (Anderson) Hopkins; her sister, Carol; and her brother, Roy. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Judy believed in a personal relationship with her Lord Jesus and held close His promise in John 14:3: “I will come back and take you to be with me.” The only gift requested is that you show love to one another, as Judy so faithfully did. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Elliot Lake Funeral Chaple and Cremation Centre.
