Passed away suddenly in Elliot Lake on February 23, 2022 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Josiane Hardy Belder of Elliot Lake. Loving father of Brian Belder (Dana) and Leslie Belder, both of Niagara Falls. Dear step father of Christine Michaux (Eric) of Belgium and step grandfather of Mathilde Lancelle (Thomas), Gauthier Lancelle, Alice, Jimmy and step great grandfather of Éléonore. Dear brother of Leo Belder (Béa) of Holland and predeceased by his sister Connie (Hugo Bart). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Society for Animals in Distress would be appreciated by the family.
