Irene Doucet

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Irene Doucet at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Wednesday April 28, 2021 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of 54 years to Paul Doucet of Elliot Lake. Predeceased by her parents Helen & Lewis Wightman & by her brother Jim Wightman. Irene was actively involved in her community as the President of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 561, Elliot Lake & previously volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Huron Lodge, Hillside Park Retirement Residence, Loyal Order of the Moose as well as the Heart & Stroke Foundation. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to the current pandemic & health restrictions, a celebration of Irene's life will be held at a later date.
