Ingrid (nee) Richard (nee Biehler)

Ingrid Richard (Nee Biehler), age 71, passed away after a brief illness on March 15, 2023, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elliot Lake.

Ingrid is predeceased by her parents, Fritz and Gerda and her brother Christian.

Ingrid is survived by sisters Anita and Susan, nieces Erica and Laura, and nephew Colin.

Ingrid was born in Scarborough England in 1951 and emigrated to Canada at the age of 8. Ingrid spent the balance of her youth in Cornwall before moving to Montreal, Kitchener, then settling in Elliot Lake. She loved the north with its abundance of nature and lakes.

Ingrid will be missed by her friends and loving family. She was known for her generosity of spirit volunteering with Girl Guides of Canada and local dog sled race events.
