George Papadakos

Papadakos, George - born in Greece, he passed away on April 15th, 2021 in Elliot Lake at the age of 74 years. Pre-deceased by his parents Nikolaos and Dimitra (nee Konidis) Papadakos he is survived by one brother Konstantinos Papadakos (Christena). Dear uncle to Nicholas and Catherine (Christoph) and great uncle to Henrik.
George arrived in Canada February 1961 and enjoyed travelling especially visiting family and friends in his home town of Xirokambi Greece. Remaining true to his Greek heritage, he took great delight in discovering and sharing his family's history with his brother and family here in Canada helping them to stay connected with their heritage.
