It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ellis John Green who left us to be with his Lord and Saviour on April 3, 2022 at the age of 71.
Devoted husband of Brenda Green (née Kreko) of Spragge. Beloved father of Jason (Sara), Heather (Shawn), Curtis (Amanda) and John (Meghann).
Loving brother to Karen MacMillan (John predeceased), Robin Green, Kim Mossman (Dale) and Trudy Green.
Cherished Grand Dude of Emma, Hannah, Elijah, Alexander, Joshua, Thomas, Emmett, Calvin and Miles.
Ellis is predeceased by his parents John and Jacqueline "Jackie" Green who sowed strong roots at Spragge Bible Church.
Brother-in-law of Nelson Kreko (predeceased), Alan Kreko and Barbara Springer (Brian).
Uncle Ellis will be lovingly remembered by his nephews Shane MacMillan (Naoko), Rob Mossman, Zack Collard, Andrew Kreko, Bradley Garceau (Nancy) and Jeremy Garceau, as well as his nieces Stacy O'Kelly (Damian), Tammy Green, Shawna Cangemi (Antonio) and Sarah Wieling (Nathan).
Having lived in Spragge since he was a young child and working at Denison Mines in Elliot Lake for 20 years, Ellis has made countless lifetime friends in the community. The family is forever grateful for their continued support, love and kindness.
A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
