Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at St. Joseph’s General Hospital, in his 95th year. Loving husband and best friend of Helene (nee Gregoire), proud father of Suzanne Roy (Denis Morel), grandfather of Melanie Morel (Chris Mckerral), Phillippe Morel (Alyshia Morel), Stephanie Lebel (Robin Lebel) and great grandfather of Mason Morel, Emmelyn Morel, Alek Lebel and Élina Lebel. Survived by his two siblings, Anthime (Florence) and Lucille Lebel (late Yvon). Predeceased by his parents Charles and Albertine (nee Lagace), brothers, Real, Telesphore, Fernand, Charles Emile, Robert, sisters, Irene, Cecile, Fernande and Aline. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11 a.m. from Ste Bernadette’s Parish, Elliot Lake. Inurnment will take place in the spring, in Hanmer, ON.
