Earle Harold Jones

Earle Harold Jones – September 15, 1953 – June 25th, 2024

It is with great sorrow that the family announce the passing of Earle Harold Jones on June 25, 2024.

Earle was born in Montreal, QC and grew up in the Eastern Townships.  He had a great love of music and played guitar, wrote songs and sang with Oliver Klaus as well as performing on his own. 

Earle had a passion for the outdoors, canoeing, snowshoeing and going on his ATV.  His friends Bruce Stewart, Clarence Dellaire and Linda Collett have great memories of the ATV rides. 

Earle returned to school as an adult to obtain his degree in nursing.  He loved knowing that he could help people in their recovery or support them in their journey to the end.  Even near the end of his own life he was concerned for his patients.  He was well loved and respected by patients, colleagues and friends. 

Earle said his two greatest accomplishments in life were his children,  Nathan Jones and Hilary Jones. 

Earle was predeceased by his parents, Harold James Jones and Lillian Florence Jones (Bevand).  He is survived by his sister Karen Desaulniers and brother-in-law, Guy Desaulniers, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private internment will take place at a later date.   Memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Foundation of Elliot Lake would be greatly appreciated by the family.
