It is with much sorrow that the family announce the passing of Dawn Eaket. Born in Huntsville, Ontario on January 14, 1966, Dawn passed away on May 2, 2023 at the age of 57. Beloved mother of Nicholas (Josée) and Jenna, and dog mom to Chewbacca. Loving daughter of Louise Rhiness, and sister to Darlene Williamson (Don), Chad Rhiness (Teresa), Gwen MacMurray (Barry), Paul Rhiness (Darcy) and Dale Rhiness. Pre-deceased by husband David Eaket, father Lockie Rhiness, and siblings Sandra and Wade. Dear friend to many. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the St. Joseph's Foundation of Elliot Lake. A private ceremony for family and friends will be held at a later date.
