Cora-Lee (Cory) (Cory) Wigfield

Cora-Lee "Cory" Wigfield 1973 - 2022

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our daughter Cora-Lee Wigfield on October 24, 2022 in Elliot Lake, Ontario at the age of 49. She is at peace after her long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

She will be forever loved and missed by her parents Sue and Jim Wigfield, her brother Kevin (Michelle), nephew Carson and Michelle's children Chloe, Gavin and Della.
She was a cherished niece to Louise Lambert, Richard Wigfield (Laurie), Gary Wigfield (Maria), Ted Wigfield (Margaret), Bob Fredette (Ruth), Steve Fredette (Margaret), David Fredette (Sherry), the late Carole Beason (late Carl) and the late Michael Fredette. Also survived by numerous cousins.

A resident of St. Joseph's Manor in Elliot Lake for 11 ½ years, we would like to give special thanks to the doctors and nurses, personal support workers and all the staff at the St. Joseph's Manor for their excellent care, their compassion and their friendship to us but especially to Cory. She thought of you as her friends and her family. You helped her keep her joy for life and made her life happy throughout the years. She was content and for that we will be forever grateful to you. Thank you.

Out of respect for Cory's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
