It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian David Fay, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on October 28, 2025. Brian is lovingly remembered by his wife Eileen Fontaine, his daughter-in-law Jennifer Forrest and his cherished grandson Hayden Forrest, who was his pride and joy. He was predeceased by his beloved parents Lillian and Louis (Cy) Fay, and his brother Robert Fay (Colleen), as well as his nieces and great-nieces and nephews.
Brian will be deeply missed by his best friends Derrek, Lisa and Garry, along with his extended family and countless friends. A proud and dedicated police officer, Brian’s service and commitment touched many lives, and he will be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters in blue.
Known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and contagious personality, Brian had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued. He had a big heart and opened his home and life to all who crossed his path. Whether cheering on a hockey game or sharing laughs while attempting to golf with Hayden, Brian’s joy for life was evident to everyone who knew him.
