Bernice Irine Martin

MARTIN, Bernice Irine Dec. 10, 1933 – April 16, 2026 With heavy hearts, daughters Janis Hoff and Brenda Hoff, announce the passing of their mother, Bernice Martin, at St. Joseph’s Manor, Elliot Lake. Predeceased by late husband(s), William Martin and Remi Lapointe, as well as children Brian Hoff and Sandra Ebenau (husband Monte), all of Elliot Lake. Survived by Janis (Chris Waschuk) of Elliot Lake, Brenda of Alliston, ON, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, stepchildren and friends. Bernice was born and raised in Kirkland Lake, ON, but moved to Elliot Lake in 1967, where she became an active member of her community. She was the daughter of Frank and Lydia Dugmore and sister to Francis, Patricia Mae, Lloyd and Violet (all predeceased), whom she joins in Heaven. Funeral service to be held at E.L. Masonic Lodge on Saturday May 16, 2026 at 12 pm, with the Rev. Cory Vermeer-Cuthbert officiating, followed by interment at Woodlands Cemetery.
