Aubrey John Millard

Millard, Aubrey John - July 19, 1938 (Dundas, Ontario) - April 7, 2025 It is with great sorrow that I report the death at home in Elliot Lake, after a sadly rapid struggle with cancer, of my husband Aubrey. Aubrey was predeceased by all his siblings and by his son Aubrey John Junior. He leaves behind his wife Judy, sons Alvin Armstrong and Gilles Millard, granddaughters Tiffany Check and Amanda Rose, and daughter-in-law Jenny Xie, and their families, as well as nieces, nephews and many friends from his teaching, navy, and sailing life. Visitation will be held at the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre, 36 Ontario Avenue, Elliot Lake on Thursday April 10, 2025 from 1pm to 3pm, followed by the funeral service at 3pm. The Rev. Cory Vermeer-Cuthbert officiating. A Celebration of Life and the scattering of Aubrey's ashes on the North Channel where he loved to sail will be held in the summer.
