Passed away suddenly at the St. Joseph's General Hospital in Elliot Lake on Tuesday December 28, 2021 at the age of 90. Predeceased by his parents William & Jean Vandersluys & by his sister Connie. Beloved husband of the late June Vandersluys (nee Parker). Loving father of Susan Miller of Burlington. Dear grandfather of Michael Miller (Cindy) of Hamilton, Ian Miller (Heather) of Courtice & great grandfather of Harper & Sawyer. Al worked as a letter carrier with Canada Post for 25 years & his hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping & golfing. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date from the funeral home. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or to any hospital of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
