Alison Irene Gilgallon

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our mother Alison Irene Gilgallon, peacefully on September 4th at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, at the age of 52. Alison was born on August 8th, 1970 in Lewisham, England.

She is pre deceased by her father Donald Gilgallon , mother Sharon Ruston and her son's father William Hamill. She is survived by her three children, Samantha, Matthew (Michelle) and Alexander. Granddaughters Emma ( Emma Loo Loo ) and Myla. Siblings Stuart (Karen), James (Christine), and Wendy. Her nieces and nephews Natasha, William, Taylor, Josh and Jaden. Her stepfather Colin Ruston. And the love of her life Donald Davidson.

Alison dedicated the majority of her life to caring for seniors and worked as a Personal Support Worker for over 25 years. She loved her job and was so very good at it. She was born in Lewisham, England. Moved to Canada when she was four years old and raised her children in Georgetown, Ontario. Until ten years ago when she moved to Elliot lake. In her heart she always wished to be back home in England.

She had the biggest heart in the entire world, and as a result took in many " strays " over the years. She was a second mother to many. She loved animals and all of the family pets. She lived and breathed for her three children, granddaughters and her true love Don.

There will be a service Friday, September 9th at 11 am at Elliot Lake Chapel and Cremation Centre. All are welcome.
