Andre Angelo Joseph (Andy) Rheaume

RHEAUME, Andre Angelo Joseph
July29th, 1950- October 14th, 2022

Elliot Lake will not be the same without the presence of Andy Rheaume, who lost his fight with a short battle of cancer at the age of 72, on Oct 14th, 2022

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Carol of 17 years, his two children Shawn (Jenn) Rheaume and Tammy (Pat) Patriarca and eight grandchildren, Jonas, Morgan, Raygen, Kaydence, Ayden, Caleb, Jordan, and Joshua, and his many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews which he loved dearly. Predeceased by his mother, Marie Rose, his father, Stephane Rheaume of Chelmsford, as well as several brothers and sisters.

Andy will also be remembered by his stepdaughter Lisa (Tim) and their two children Logan and Seth, as well as many friends and his neighbors of Capital Place which became family.

Andy had a profound love for Elliot Lake, fishing, the Montreal Canadians, his sweet puppy Molson, making others laugh with his witty sense of humour and volunteering his time at Foodland. He was always willing to lend a hand to the people in his community. You always knew when Andy was around with his distinct voice, and his infectious laugh.

There are no words to describe how terrible this loss feels. He gave so much and asked for so little in return and touched the lives of so many.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at Woodlands Cemetery.

First meet Andy at the bowling alley where he joined the Thursday afternoon senior league. Upon talking to him we found out his relation to Urgel Rheaume. From there on in it became a joke of who was the better bowler. Teasing each of them . Andy was a pleasure to know, his disposition easy going attitude. He will be missed by so many.

Our dear friend and neighbour, Andy. Gone much too soon from our midst. Always ready with a helping hand. We miss you and love you with all our hearts. On our way to church one Sunday, he asked us to say, "hi". Never realizing he was soon to meet his maker. God Bless you and keep you. Until we meet again.
