Predeceased by her husband Norman Bovair. Mother of Alan, Diana, Lucia, Elisabeth and grandmother of Alisa Marie. Maria resided in Elliot Lake for 50 years. She was an avid community volunteer and could often be found trekking the streets with her close family friends. As per Maria’s wishes, there will be no celebration of life.

I was terribly sad to hear your mom was ill.

My condolences to you all.

We send our sincere condolences to all the family. Your mother was a beautiful lady who always took the time to stop and chat. May she rest in the arms of the angels.

Hugs and thoughts to all.
A very special lady. She was there for my mom, when she lived in Elliot.
She always made me a black forest cake when I came to visit.
She will always watch over her kids because that is who she is.
