William (Bill) Emmerson

Emmerson, William “Bill” – There’s a time to live and a time to say “see ya”.
Bill said his goodbyes to his family on November 7, 2021 leaving behind his dear wife Elizabeth “Beth”, children and grandchildren Catherine and Michael Greene (Bailey, William, Skeets), Janice and Michael Wilson (Ella, Sean) and Andrea Emmerson (Jake, Nicholas). Gone before him; his infant son Larry, his parents Muriel and Gilbert and his sister Gail Emmerson.
We are going to miss that big smile but we take comfort in Dr. Seuss’s advice “don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened”.
Thank you for the support received from family, friends and especially Bill’s patient doctors. Liz, we are grateful for your assistance, Earle, your guidance gave us the strength and support we needed to complete this journey.
We hope Coach Carl has the team laced up and ready to go.

CHARLES FLINTOFF

Dear Beth and family so sorry about your loss. I always loved the story of how Bill use to drive my Dad and Gil Lafleur around at all the hockey tournament. They use to sit in the back seat doing who knows what. My Dad use to call him perfect Bill. He will be missed Charles Flintoff

Jane Miller

Dear Beth, Catherine, Janice and Andrea and family…I am so very sorry to hear about Bill. He has been such a trouper for so many years dealing with his horrible illness that has taken him and so many others way before their time. I will always remember Bill’s great smile, jovial laugh and warm greeting, whether on the street, at the store or driving by. He always had a hello, pet and often a treat for one of my dogs. They would even walk up the driveway and wait by the door in hopes that Bill would see them. His happy disposition made him a pleasure to be around and I always enjoyed our conversations. Bill, I will miss you. I know that the many wonderful memories you have of Bill will keep him forever in your hearts and thoughts and in the hearts and thoughts of his many friends. Please know that I am thinking of you all with a heavy heart. Rest in pease Bill and enjoy happy times with all of those who have gone before you. I’m sure they will now have enough players for a heavenly hockey team! With love, sympathy and big bear hugs…Jane

Catherine, Michael and family, I’m am so sorry to hear the news of your dad’s passing. “Grief never ends, but it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness nor a lack of faith. It is the price of love.” I hope all of your memories will be a source of comfort as you go through this passage. ❤️
