Keith Meawasige

Meawasige, Keith Frederick (Bear Clan) – born July 25, 1978, he passed away suddenly in Elliot Lake on March 13, 2021 at the age of 42.
Pre-deceased by his father Wayne Meawasige and his grandparents Gilberte and Marcel Vezina, he is survived by his mother Lina Longpre and his children Riley Meawasige and Ethan Palmateer. Dear brother of Laurie Longpre (Michael Booth), Tammy Cudmore (David) and Shelley Cleveland (Tom).
Also survived by his nieces and nephews Emma, Gavin, Abigail, Bradley, Ella, Hunter and Ava.
At the request of the family, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at Westview Park in Elliot Lake on Saturday, March 27th, 2021 from 1-3 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the St. Joseph’s Foundation of Elliot Lake (Oaks Centre) or to the East Algoma Mental Health would be appreciated by the family.

Due to the current pandemic & health restrictions imposed by the provincial government, there is a maximum attendance of 100 people.

Upon entering Westview Park, you will be required to wear a mask or face covering, use hand sanitizer & confirm your name & telephone number for contact tracing purposes. You will also need to observe the 2 meters Physical Distancing guideline imposed by the provincial government, unless you are members of the same household.
