John was a very kind and pleasant person to be with. I always enjoyed my time with John while at the North Channel Yacht Club.

His list of many skills were something John was always helpful with and willing to teach others.

I still recall my last visit with John at the yacht club as I write this. It was as a very pleasant visit as usual. Rest in peace.
